Constipation And Kapalabhati
I practice for Kapalabhati daily for 20 minutes after my breakfast.
I am also used to drink milk before going to sleep but from many years I am suffering from constipation. I had tried for every medicine but doesn't seems to work. Kindly help me.Answer
First of all you must not do kapalabhati pranayama after doing breakfast. You must do pranayama or any other yoga in the morning before eating anything.
You must integrate kapalabhati pranayama along with other pranayama and yoga asanas according to your age and present health. Doing a single asana or pranayama is not beneficial if your body is not in perfect health. Get yoga lessons from an experienced yoga teacher.
Early morning drink drink 2 glass of water just after you wake up. If possible keep water in a copper jug at your bedside table for drinking in the morning.
Best remedy for constipation is to take one to two teaspoon of Triphala powder taken with warm water or milk at the time going to bed. Analyse your life style and eating habits to remove the factors that can aggravate constipation. For example, avoid sedentary lifestyle, tea, coffee and processed junk food. Drink plenty of water.
