PCOS and Pregnancy - Thank You, Daljit

Dear Daljit ji,

I contacted you in 2015 for guidance. I have PCOS and was trying to conceive. You helped me by sharing a wonderful book - Asana Pranayama Mudra Bandha by Swami Satyanand Saraswati of Bihar School of Yoga. You also told me some great sequences of asanas and pranayam, in your comforting and reassuring style.

I greatly benefitted. Till my due date, I practiced yoga everyday, and went for a walk. I had a very comfortable pregnancy - no back ache at all. My sciatic pain vanished, I had no dizzyness, very little nausea and no hypertension. As I was a little overweight when I started, I took conscious effort to control my weight too. Yoga, pranayama and yoga nidra all helped to keep my hunger, blood pressure, mood-swings and sleep patterns steady.

So, thank you again! You are doing a great service by running this website and taking out time to guide people.

Initially I guided you, but it is your keen interest in learning yoga the proper way and applying that knowledge that has borne fruit. Your story shows that yoga must be adopted in entirety for achieving the desired results and focussing on few asanas and pranayma may not be effective. Thank you for your advice for bronchitis problem

Hello Daljit Mam,

Thanks to you for your efforts and guidance. Your advice towards yoga and diet had help me a lot especially anulom breathing exercise. I am having bronchitis problem right from childhood. Doctors said that there is no solution for this, but you can get rid from symptoms by keeping your immune system strong. By practicing breathing exercise I had noticed many positive changes. And one of the most important thing I like of yoga that it has multiple benefits for body and even mind.
