Mouth Breathing

by Krishna Veni
(Qatar)

My son breathes only with mouth and even while sleeping. I'm worried that his teeth are coming up and not only that, I'm afraid that his health may get affected by doing so. My question is that, will he be able to breathe through nose for ever, if he practices pranayama? Thanks and Regards, Krishna Veni.

Answer

You have not written the age of your son. It is not recommended to start doing yoga before the age of 12 years. It is better to seek help of a pediatrician.
