Hello,
Few days back, I started doing kapalabhati and anulom vilom. Can I do it for 2 minutes alternatively each one for increasing counts or should I have to do them one after other? Please guide.
Answer
Each pranayama has its own techniques and benefits. You do the pranayama once after the other as there is no need to mix and practice more than one pranayama technique in alteration.
As a beginners, just practice 2-3 rounds of kapalabhati taking 20-30 seconds rest in between the rounds. Similar is the case for anulom vilom.
Yoga is a slow process where the intensity or repetitions are increased gradually over a period of time. Your yoga practice will improve gradually with regular practice.
Hope this helps
