Yoga Routine For Weight Loss

by Bushra

I have seen videos about yoga for weight loss. But it does not mention how many times we have to do it and and how much time we should spend on it.

Leg Cycling Pose
Leg Rotation Pose
Leg Rolling Pose
Sarp Asana

Each pose how many time one should repeat and how many days in a week. Please tell me. Thanks.

Answer

You are mentioning about the weight loss exercises on the following webpage
yoga exercises for weight loss

1. You can do these exercises daily or preferably six days a week.

2. There is no upper limit on the number of repetitions. The number of repetitions a person can do depend on the physical fitness levels. Whenever you feel you cannot continue further stop. With gradual practice you can increase the number of repetitions. For beginners doing Leg Cycling Pose, Leg Rotation Pose and Leg Rolling Pose; do 5 times, repeat 2 or 3 times.

3. You can integrate these poses with other poses in your yoga sequence. If you feel comfortable, doing each pose for 10 times and repeating 3 times should serve the purpose. If you have the strength and want better results you can do more repetitions.

Hope this helps.
