Kapalbhati By One Nostril

by Sushil
(Jalandhar, Panjab, India)

Most of time I breathe by one nostril sometime right, sometime left and sometime both are open. During kapalabhati I breathe by one nostril only. So I want to know whether it is right to breathe by one nostril. Will I get full benefit of
kapalabhati?

Answer
For doing pranayama, your both nostrils must be clear. In case one of the nostril is not clear, it is not advisable to do kapalabhati pranayama. Doing kapalabhati through one nostril may do harm rather than any benefit.

Hope this helps
