What to eat before yoga for lactating mother?
I will be thankful if you can please guide me as I had a cesarean delivery 3 months ago and with the consultation of doctor I am planning to start yoga for weight loss and flat tummy. But my question is I feed baby in night and according to my mother I shouldn't start exercise or yoga without eating something, and at most of the places I have read that yoga should be done empty stomach or having lime water.
Please suggest me the right suggestion so that it should give healthy benefit to mine body and shouldn't effect baby in feeding.

It is strongly recommended to do yoga on empty stomach and you can take lukewarm lime juice with honey. This should be OK if you do yoga immediately after getting up.
If there is a delay of say more than one hour after you get up and do yoga, you may feel hungry. In that case you can drink fresh fruit juice or fresh vegetable juice after getting up and later on do yoga. Fresh fruit juice or vegetable juice is easily digested and provide required energy to the body. If you feel too hungry you can eat some fruit like orange or a banana. It is not advisable to drink tea or eat biscuits before yoga.
Remember, yoga should be done on empty stomach but not on an hungry stomach.
