I am 26 years old female. I am underweight. Can I do yoga?



Answer

As long as you are physically fit, there is no harm in doing yoga. Just check with your doctor to rule out any medical problem.

You can do yoga, you will not lose excessive weight. Yoga practice will help you to get to your ideal body weight if you are underweight. With yoga practice, you will build up muscles. Digestive system health, blood circulation and endocrine health improves.

You can start a yoga sequence of 45 minutes to one hour and eat healthy nutritious food. As you are underweight, you can afford to eat to your hearts content. It can do wonders to your health and posture.
